  • Room temperature: Store the vanilla pods at room temperature, not in the refrigerator, to avoid them drying out.
  • Airtight Container: Place them in an airtight container, such as a glass tube or jar with a tight-fitting lid, to protect from air and moisture.
  • Dark and Dry Place: Store the container in a dark and dry place, such as a pantry, to avoid light and heat.
  • Avoid Plastic Wrap: Do not use plastic wrap, as it can cause condensation and mold growth.
  • Check Regularly: Inspect the rods regularly. If they start to dry out, add a damp cotton ball to the container for a short period.

By following this advice, your vanilla pods will retain their softness, rich aroma, and natural flavor for longer.
